The only thing I wish they would have added was the ability to "ban" tasks for each group and section as well. It would solve some of the annoyance with sims going to do something you don't want (like the laundry people going to the hotel for bar drinks)

This would help with the Big Brother challenge you did, too. If you could, lets say, ban mischief spells or make sure they don't do archery when they're meant to be doing bowling, etc.

This will be a great way to circle back to Krista's Big Wallet school (however it was named) - Now you could set a class schedule and see the students/attendees moves from one class to the next.

I dont know why they dont have zones in this pack like in buisnesses and hobbies, so you can set an area as residential, staff and community. The coding already exists, it would have been super easy to include in this pack. Even better if there was like community lot 1, community lot 2 etc so you could set community lot 1 as the hotel and 2 as the laundromat

I love that ea have given early access with the other packs this time (intentionally or not, who knows...). It's cool to see how the new pack works in conjunction with the other packs too!

Cannonball Coleman returning to play the piano once again, feels like a full circle moment

I love that Deli’s video has “glamping” on the thumbnail, and James’s is “blood bank” 🤣🤣🤣 these two are literally my two personalities

Werewolf underground fight club! I tried doing this in Businesses & Hobbies by converting the Moonwood Mill library but it didn't work. I think the custom venue might work, just as long as werewolf fights is an activity.

Did the barista's AI want a countertop coffee machine?

For the hotels, I would add a "Nightstaff" role, and maybe just assign cleaning/repairing and reading ?

Ideas:
1. Haunted Theme Park? I don't know how possible it is. But some sims could be the haunt actors and scare the other sims that are the guests. It could be like a farm, where during the day they could pick pumpkins and garden and stuff, but at night it could be a spooky maze where they get scared.
2. I think some of the ideas you tried in businesses and hobbies will work a lot better in this pack. Like the theater/arcade/bowling venue. And you could do a getaway that is actually someone's bowling birthday party. You could do that for one of the kids in the current lets play.
3. Botanical garden and art museum? Can you run classes on a venue like this? That would be really neat if they could do art classes, or flower arranging, or butterfly collecting, or all kinds of classes at a venue like that.

A couple of observations: I think Sims not changing into the selected outfit may be because you didn't set an outfit for the hot weather category (It was hot when you were running the hotel). With regards to having more sims on a lot than selected in roles, could it be that the lot isn't restricted to those roles and other sims may still spawn but without an assigned role and without following the schedule if the max number of sims on lot isn't reached?

I would love to see a "class trip". So maybe teens go on a classtrip with a teacher and a parent but throughout the day they actually go to museums etc.

Feels like the team has given us aversion of the software they have used to tell npc's what to do in the game so far

Thanks for sciencing this out, James.  I've learned alot from these videos.  James is such a good builder!  That laudermat looks so realistic.  For the coffee bar issues and DJ booth, maybe try a different model?  How about an elderly daycare? I am going to try that myself.

just came from Lady's Life part 2, specifically the stream where James has his face cam, and this video has made me realise just how baby he was 10 years ago. Who knew a decade of time made someone look older hahah

I love seeing the interactions and cross pack compatibility in early access, thanks for the awesome content! 😊

This would work so well in custom saves where you can assign sims you created to 'own' businesses or 'work as a barista'. like it makes me happy seeing my own sims around town and not just randomly generated npcs on venues i build. exciting!

Can you remove the primary activity and only have activity per role ?
Because staff seem attracted to that primary activity rather than their own secondary activities

The rampage werewolves would be great idea and then during the day siims that need to get their repair skill upcould come and fix the stuff. Like one of those wreck rooms for destroying stuff.

According to other vids I've seen, other sims that have not signed up for a Getaway can still visit the lot and will participate in the scheduled activities. That's probably why you had so many sims on the lot at times.  I want to create a sort of 'hogwart's' style magic school for Realm of Magic because I haven't explored that pack yet. And I want to create a community college like the one you created for your Business & Hobbies playthrough. I thought that might be good for teens and YA's to get some quick skills. I heard that this system wasn't working for Horse Ranch but I hope that gets fixed because a dude ranch getaway would be awesome! And a winemaking (nectar) & tasting venue for Tartosa. A ski getaway for Mt. Komarabi...the possibilities are endless!
