I did a charity run during lock down. the idea was to run around your garden, if you had a garden, or some other ridiculous space for 12 hours. All moneies raised for the NHS. I did 27 miles. Caz, my wife, who had run maybe six miles before did 22 miles! you areso right. LOVE

David, I have run the ROF twice. All I can say is thank you for your honesty.
As you have said, it's not about the race but bout the people and community who support you and the love you feel from them that make you go to places you never would of thought you could go to.
By the way, I met you on the first day running then on the second and Third Days supporting the race in the T5 campervan

Great film this.. has all the ingredients of a great ultra event challenge.. the ups and downs..overwhelming running moments.. and finally the joy of getting to the end.. great support from your wife.. love the emotional/ spiritual approach to doing them.. it’s why I did and do them.. puts us on the path to our soul.. great achievement..👏👏👏

What a great inspirational video. You have great mental strength. Respect to you for getting to the start line that third day. I have never run this event. But competed in others. This looks tough and you did it. Absolutely well done to you and your team.

WOW David-Jacko! this is an extraordinary and vulnerably enlightening documentary. The tears run from my eyes of joy and love I have for you sharing this story of deep connection we all want between each breath. Thank you very very much. May many discover this story and the adventure and challenges ahead in their lives to open up and receive the support others want to give for our success, and that we can ask for help when we need it, even between the breaths where to ones who love us see the question before it's asked. Thank you, I love you (as we say in our connected group of open loving humans serving each other and others in our lives.)

I was riding a bike today and listening to the "Take a Break podcast" with you... I have felt so calm and just forget that I have breath only thru my nose during a 1:10h ride.
Your story was truly inspiring! Just to live, to breathe, and to search for a small thing that makes us happy! 🙂🧘🏻

I felt your raw emotions! I was training for a 26.3 mile hike (14wk training turned into 2yrs because of covid). Anyway I ended up getting bronchitis after a 16 mile hike. I was so devastated that I could only do 4 miles during the hike day! Since then, I've been diagnosed with acute bronchitis. I've been feeling just like you mentioned in this video. You've given me hope! TY!

This was an amazing watch! I love the honesty and real raw emotion, the share of that alone creates connection (even beyond your amazing family and support team). I could feel it and felt connected, and Im sure others do to! A few things of many standing out; 'We are way more capable than we think' and 'its about connection!' Awesome work Jacko!

Your face says it all in some of the scenes and its incredible how you went on. Your wife is such an inspiration, and shows how stronger and incredible the female species are. Massive respect matey.
