If you wet the cardboard lightly, the tape comes off a lot more easily

It costs businesses to have cardboard removed. Don't let them fool you. They quietly LOVE you.

Awesome video Tom!! So many people can't afford to start gardens because prices are so high! Great example on how to do a garden for free. Lots of great information too. You've done great! Be proud, that garden is going to grow your family some delicious bountiful crops. God provides for his children.

I hear ya brother. I grew up in the suburbs just outside of Portland Oregon. In my youth all I dreamed of was having land and forest to call my own and develop. It took a while but that dream came true. Got some acreage about 45 min from the city and I have been able to watch my kids grow up doing real stuff; gardening, raising livestock, hiking, and playing in our creek. It is a lot of work and it ain’t for everybody, but for me it is the best way to live. God has been very good to me.

Make a list of all cafes, restaurants, coffee shops for setting up a commitment to collecting coffee grinds and veg scraps.

I am doing basically the same thing in my garden to make new beds because I can't afford to just buy everything I need. I get too impatient and plant in them sooner than I plan but have no complaints. Fyi the horse manure does wonders for water retention. Amen to feeling grateful.
