How is a comic book page created? This documentary follows a full day in the life of comic book artist François Boucq, a major figure in the world of graphic novels, as he creates a complete page for an album in the Bouncer series.
From sunrise to sunset, François Boucq imposes a rare discipline on himself: conceiving, constructing, and finalizing a page in a single day. In his studio, he shares his relationship to drawing, storytelling, characters, his work rhythm, and the particular concentration that allows him to remain in a constant state of creation.
Between drawing, comics, martial arts, kendo, and reflections on creative energy, this film offers an intimate glimpse into the daily life of a great artist. François Boucq reveals his method, his rigor, his imagination, and how a page gradually develops until it comes to life.
A valuable documentary for comic book enthusiasts, drawing aficionados, art lovers, and anyone who wants to understand how a master of comics works. -------
