In this video, I show you how to build a simple and aesthetic starter house with everything you will need to progress through at least the first few biomes.

The entire building process is shown step by step so that you can follow along. Additionally, I demonstrate many useful building tips that I've picked up after over 1000 hours in the game.

This starter house is designed to support you from your first day in Valheim through to the mid-game biomes, or at least until you're ready to build something bigger.

Inside, you'll find a compact workshop with enough space for a fully upgraded workbench and forge, alongside an elevated sleeping area to skip the nights.

Opposite the entrance is a double-sized campfire, with one side dedicated to cooking stations and the other reserved for a cauldron.

Of course, there's also an integrated storage area with space for at least 30 chests, which can be easily upgraded to reinforced chests as you progress.

Finally, you can use the empty space above the storage area for extra comfort items, helping you maximise the duration of your rested buff.
