A world inside out in Ecuador. A banana republic—that's the association this country evokes in our latitudes. But the exotic fruit isn't all Ecuador has to offer. First and foremost, it's a land of striking contrasts, where scorching jungles stand side by side with the snowy peaks of the Andes, and wild tribes willing to kill anyone who invades their lands still live near large cities. Ecuador is a land of freedom and madness, where the line between good and evil is blurred. It has everything—from fluffy llamas and carefree "chagras" cowboys on the mountaintops, to unusual Native American rituals and the oldest legal profession for women. Uncontacted tribes still terrorize anyone who ventures into the rainforest. The number of such Indians is unknown, but attacks are not isolated. The "World Inside Out" team embarks on a very dangerous and lengthy journey through the Ecuadorian Amazon to find one of the Waorani tribes. Dmitry Komarov will try to find out how they adapted to new conditions and why they regret their decision to contact the civilized world.
