Let’s Zoom

Let’s Zoom

The San Juan Mountains had been looming on Let's Zoom Radar for quite some time. It was always talked about, but never attempted, mostly because of the unknowns of the range and the logistics of a trip there. However, in the spring, Gideon and I started kicking around the idea of a La Sal-San Juan trip while out trail running dodging leftover snow. Later in the summer, John started talking serious about it, and we put a plan together. Unfortunately, Tristan was unable to attend, and the unification of Let's Zoom was pushed to a later date. Even still, the majesty of the trip was amazing. The mist of the La Sals, the charm of Ouray, and the jaw-dropping views we were treated to on Sneffels, it was surely a trip of all time, and we can't stop talking about it. We'll definitely be back that way because ain't no way we can stay away.
