TJ Maxx corporate office bout to have a crazy Monday 😂

Any "personal items" skincare, makeup, etc should just be marked as final sale and no returns accepted to keep it sanitary

Should buy a picture frame and return it with that Ryland picture to see if they take it.😂

The hotel water having lead in it is the spookiest thing I’ve seen all year

I feel like the lead in the water is the most concerning thing

You know what's crazy? I've seen so many videos of people dumpster diving in TJ Maxx dumpsters and they find brand new handbags / home decor / etc. So it literally makes zero sense for them NOT to throw out damaged makeup and skincare when they have no issue tossing perfectly usable goods

Shane’s point is SO true. Like everyone deserves decency and a safe product, no matter if it’s a discount store or not. It’s not fair to people who need to buy things cheap. Everyone deserves respect and this is awful.

Shane, I had to comment immediately after watching this. I had a friend in high school who bought shampoo and conditioner from said discount store and someone had tampered with it and put hair remover in the shampoo. She lost ALL OF HER HAIR. when she confronted the store they told her there was nothing they could do and refused to help her. They said there products are no longer a liability once they are sold. I’m not sure if she ever pursued legal action but yeah.

I am happy that Shane mentioned the obvious. People that shop at discount stores do not deserve unhygienic or tampered items. They have the right to purchase safe items just like anyone else. I also grew up shopping at a discount store (ROSS) and to this day I love that store. I can find wonderful items there but I am aware that sadly I have to avoid hygiene or beauty products from there. IYKYK that some items are a no no from Ross or TJMax.

You shouldn't be allowed to return personal items unless they're 100% sealed with like plastic or something. Especially underwear and makeup!! Absolutely nasty

33:16 “Lizzie is obsessed with lobsters. I’m gonna get this for her.” Honey, that’s a crab

I have been a CEC at tjmaxx for about 3 years now. I “zero out” returns left and right and management gets pissed about it. Returns such as makeup, hair tools, sheet/ comforters (opened), clothing that is not in sellable conditions… I can go on. It will NOT touch the sales floor on my watch, lol

"Why cant we get affordable things at a nice store?"

Very well said Shane, I think society has lost plot unfortunately 🥺

bring back ghost hunting videos. 2017-2019 was your prime because of how good those scary videos were.

Former mgr here...
They make you "mark items down" in price and send them in the "go backs" to the salesfloor... The problem is that the "higher-ups" get mad about "damage" or "marked out of stock aka MOOS"  percentages. They get on managers about the percentage and then the managers tell all the employees to STOP "marking things out of stock" aka "taking them off the salesfloor for purchase" in order to comply with the statistic that "higher-ups" are requesting from them. Thus cashiers, doing what they are being told, take returns, and instead of marking the atrocious item out of stock and not to be sold and put it in a :DAMAGE BIN", they accept the return, mark it down .99 cents and put it in the "GO BACK BIN"!! It's a domino effect... I spoke out at every instance as a manager at TJ MAXX... They ultimately fired me for it. Complete and utter retaliation they performed against me.. They even got away with it... 🥀
If you want stories/proof let me know. I have plenty of other info.

Allegedly... (I don't need more problems)

Essentially this is like a thrift store portrayed as a retail store lol

love that the glossier was the worse one and that’s the one thing that yall didn’t do anything to 😭😭

This is crazy concerning I didn't realize how bad it was, when you grow up low income you rely on these stores to afford a gift for someone or something for yourself makeup, clothing or household items. Even walmart of all places doesn't even do this.

you should totallyyyyy bring the og food videos back, the kitchen is perfect for it
