To me they still are the best progressive metal band of all time... But to me Mike Portnoy is the best drummer of all times. We D. T. fans miss him.

He plays with such joy... I can only imagine how hard it must have been for him to leave DT like that. DT was his greatest masterpiece.

Now this is what drums sound like! Damn his snare is legendary. That perfect crack.

due to the mirror, he can observe the video animations on the big LED screen behind him, to make sure, everything is ok ... mike portnoy was responsible for all sort of things around a concert

That Choke-Spin-Hit @6:39 was incredible. I Love Mangini but something is really charasmatic and fascinating about Portnoys drumming.

6:26 he looks like he is enjoying that part so much that he makes it even more epic

Neal Peart blazed the way...but Mr. Portnoy is the current king of skins...playing from no other drummer can match his taste, selection and coordination...he is a phenom...untouchable...Sir Portnoy!

Still one of the greatest live concerts of my life.
I look forward to repeating the experience in 2024 now that he is back

The drums from 9:20 on are insane. So powerful and played with such showmanship. I don't care how many polyrhythms and paradiddles professor Mangini can play he can't match the cymbal work of probably and he belongs in a classroom not on stage. Dude can't even sing backup vocals.

Such a joy to watch. I never get tired of this performance. Excellent song with a roller coaster of emotions. The final section so dramatic with great drumming energy.
