Theres this Japanese tradition of aesthetics called Wabi-Sabi, that finds peace and beauty in three simple truths: that things are imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete. That is why we value hand painted artwork than perfect machine-printed things. I guess that judge is unaware of that.

Mel B is talking about what “performers” have to do when they don’t have that rare and raw talent that can just captivate people, without all the theatrics. Namely herself. Absolutely no theatrics needed with a voice like that. He is so sure in his skill, that’s what lures you in and we as the audience are drawn in. That’s how it used to be done. That’s what it should return to. Mel B’s “success” is a great example of what is wrong about the music industry.

Can't believe the judges were hung up on this guy. I've seen golden buzzers go for much less. This guy deserves big time appreciation. What dedication as well. 37 years singing in the streets? How did it take so long for him to get recognized like he deserves?
