I had no idea that Tokyo, Japan has a muslim population. Although Islam only makes up 0.2% of the population in Japan its a growing community and a beautiful thing to see.
I was fortunate to meet a Japanese muslim who welcomed me to the Tokyo muslim area. Japan has an issue with muslim people but I think Japanese people generally respect everyone's beliefs. This is my vlog exploring the muslim community in Tokyo.

I just have one small request. Please avoid sitting and eating near the entrance of the apartment building directly across from Tokyo Camii.
There was a time when Muslim visitors were actually blocking the entrance to the building, which caused some trouble for the residents.
As you know, Islamophobia in Japan has become quite serious. If residents were to complain, even things like this kind of etiquette could unfortunately be used as material to criticize Muslims.
I’m only mentioning this because I care about our community and want to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings.
May Allah protect our Ummah and guide us all to behave in the best manner. Ameen.

There are a LOT, much more than one might expect in a country with such a small percentage of Muslims. Various halal ramen shops, but also Indonesian and Malaysian restaurants, and even Uyghur and Uzbek places. Google Maps can reveal more.
