I'm an instructor in the U.S. and I would like to say that the info I just heard was spot on! It's a breath of fresh air to hear great instruction on YouTube. Ed is so personable and humble.

Ed is such a good communicator of his knowledge. Knowing how to do something yourself is one thing, but being able to tell someone else how to do it is another.

Excellent film, possibly one of the best shooting films on YouTube!! should get him on more!!

The two mornings i have spent being coached by Ed are the best investments I made in shooting.  No deconstruction of my poor technique, just an ability to teach people how to read the targets, and how to use your eyes to get the best out of them.  If i lived closer i'd have a monthly session with him.

That level of self deprecation and humility comes from knowing you really are THAT good! 👍

I've watched all of the top coaches/instructors on here and i've come to the conclusion that Ed Solomons stands head and shoulders above the rest (imho). He gets the point across with minimum fuss and is easy to understand with no bull****. He's the guy i'd go to.

Tgs what with gun reviews and clay tours you've done some great vids but this one just knocked it out of the park. Also Ed needs a coaching medal as big as a frying pan. Top fella.

That's why these people teach, they know a thing or too :D

Sash killed it again 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾

Amazing shooting and top notch video. It's kind of shocking how good this channel's production is. A good YouTube channel now is miles better than all but the best TV ever was.

An absolutely top notch video and you did the Longthorne proud too!

Probably the best shooting video I've seen absolutely fantastic 👏

Amazing video. Ed obviously slipped Jonny a cheeky tenner to let him win. No other explanation for what I just witnessed

And that’s how you make clay shooting entertaining! Absolutely brilliant job Ed and Jonny but biggest congrats go to Sash - incredible production!

That guy is from another planet.

Best clay tour yet . Can’t believe how good he can shoot from the hip .
Let me know when the Ed vs Ant charity fight is on 😂

Haven't seen Ed for a while, but he's an absolute star as a coach. Couple of years back my sporting scores took a dip, couldn't work out what was wrong.  Half a day with Ed, he immediately noticed that I was getting lazy with hold points, making myself rush the shot.  Took it on board and was feeling confident again by the end of the session.  Two days later, shot a comp and was one away from my PB at a Registered shoot.  He's fantastic at spotting issues with what you are doing and working with your current shooting style / level of ability to get you hitting things consistently.

Simply brilliant gentlemen! Left handed shooters have a mental advantage.

I shot the fitacs layout today at grimsthorpe today and kept increasing the distance till I was actually at the path, amazing targets, and you can appreciate the effort that goes in and some serious delay after pulling the trigger and see clay break, well done grimsthorpe team, 👍👍

Superb lesson. Technical breakdown makes perfect sense. Much more useful than " just when you think you have enough lead on a 50 yard shot, add 3 ft...
