🇹🇭 BODYSLAM Reaction — อกหัก (Broken Heart), แผลเป็น (Scar) feat. Jeff Satur and คราม (Indigo) — Today I’m diving deeper into the powerful vocals, emotional song-writing and distinctive sound of Thai rock band BODYSLAM! 🔥
After my previous Bodyslam discovery and their appearances in my Thai rock reactions, we’re continuing the journey with three music videos: finding strength through heartbreak in อกหัก, the memories left behind in แผลเป็น with Jeff Satur, and the hidden depths of the human heart in คราม.

Fronted by Toon Artiwara Kongmalai, Bodyslam have grown from their 2002 debut into one of Thailand’s major rock bands. Their music connects love, hardship and perseverance with expressive vocals and ambitious arrangements. In this reaction, I’m exploring more of their songwriting, music videos and collaborations across different eras of the band.
🎵 Songs included:
💔 อกหัก (Ok Hak / Broken Heart) — BODYSLAM
From their 2007 album Save My Life, อกหัก is about finding the strength to survive heartbreak. The relationship may have ended, but the narrator refuses to let that loss destroy their life. Its music video gives that struggle a physical form, connecting the feeling of being pulled down with the possibility of moving forward.
🩹 แผลเป็น (Phlae Pen / Scar) — BODYSLAM feat. Jeff Satur
Released in 2024 from Sunny Side Up, แผลเป็น explores how an old love can leave a lasting mark even after the immediate pain has faded. Jeff contributes to the songwriting as well as the vocals, bringing his own melodic ideas and a guitar contribution alongside Bodyslam’s Yod.
🌊 คราม (Khram / Indigo) — BODYSLAM
First released as a single in 2009 before appearing on the 2010 album of the same name, คราม compares the human heart to the sea: beautiful on the surface, but full of depths we cannot easily understand. The song asks whether someone will stay after discovering the parts of us that differ from what they imagined, with underwater imagery and shifting musical intensity bringing that idea to life.
Bodyslam fans, let me know which song connected with you most, which details I should catch, and which performance I absolutely need to hear next! Jeff Satur fans, I’d also love to hear what you think of this collaboration! ❤️
