people don't know but shuhua is credited with being the original boss baby

17:09 Soyeon (rapper and leader, positioned at the center) stated in an interview that during their trainee days, she wanted each member to preserve the uniqueness of their voice, rather than be molded by the industry into sounding the same. “It felt like we were losing our individuality,” she explained, “because everyone has different vocal cords, but we were being taught the same techniques and methods.”

When Soyeon first decided to stop the standard vocal training, Minnie admitted she “couldn’t really get it.”
Determined to protect that individuality, Soyeon independently found a vocal coach who could work with each member to develop their voice in a personalized way.
After noticing the improvement in her own vocals, Minnie realized, “Oh, Soyeon was right.” The change, she said, “was so obvious.”
She had also remarked, “If we all use the same techniques, everything starts to sound similar. It’s easy to listen to, but it really kills individuality.”

Soyeon later rejected every debut song proposed by Cube Entertainment, ultimately writing the group’s entire debut album herself, because, as she saw it, only she truly understood how to craft songs that suited each member’s voice.

People often fail to realize the extent of Soyeon’s involvement in shaping the group’s identity, all while she was still just a rookie trainee. Even more remarkable was the profound trust every member placed in her from the very beginning, entrusting their entire careers to her hands.

the second and third song were actually a trilogy in the same album named "i burn" titled hann (alone in the winter) and hwaa. And you mentioned how different the members are, especially when they're singing because soyeon refused to let her members receive lessons from the same vocal teacher, she brought out every member's voice so beautifully and she knew how to bring it out when she writes the lyrics

5:34 POP STARS is actually from K/DA, a virtual kpop group for League of Legends, the only members from idle that are in the group are Soyeon and Miyeon (together with Madison Beer and Jaira Burns)

I think you can hear their individuality is bcs soyeon who wrote most of these tracks literally wrote each member's parts based on their strength and personality that's why their parts feels spesific and unique to each members

Actually the songs from 2:02-5:28 are not the same. It was a trilogy. The first one was HANN (ALONE) a digital single that was released in 2018 while the other two HANN (Alone in Winter) and HWAA are from the same album called (I BURN) it was released in 2021 😊

Thank you so much for loving gidle music. I had so much fun watching your reactions, can't wait for more gidle reactions 😊

If this video gets flagged later by youtube, it's becuase of the pop/stars portion.  Pop/stars is a song from the virtual group K/DA (created by RIOT games).  Soyeon and Miyeon were selected to voice the parts of characters Akali and Ahri in the song.  RIOT discovered Soyeon and Miyeon before (G)I-dle debuted for the K/DA group.

Do you guys planning on reacting to their recording behind? Or their funny moments video? I think y'all would really enjoy those

I'm not sure if you have yet but you mentioned Soyeon being a "bad b" - she actually has a song out called Is this Bad B's number and yall haaave to react to it. Its with BIBI and Youngji, two other amazing rappers

You need to react to my bag dance practice. Trust me.

There sounds are so unique and their MV's are so unique along with their concepts for their MV's. Such a great group. Fun fact - Miyeon was supposed to debut with Blackpink but she left YG entertainment before the debut...Blackpink went on as a four member group.

I think that this Killing Voice shows why you need to not just check out ()i-dle's title tracks - about 1/4 of these are b-sides with either no MV or just a choreography/ special performance video.

cant wait for you guys to react to more gidle!! ❤ loving these videos
