Nick is one of the most original sounding guitar player i have heard in 30 years. His music is so harmonically rich and he never overplays.

he is one of a few guitarists tend to choose the best notes to play instead of nonsense fast runs. What a master!

I have great respect for the fact that he has the tools but doesn't feel the need to use it all the time.

Just when I thought the studio version of Remarkably Human couldn’t get better, I found this. 🤯

He could easily blow us all away with rehearsed licks but I love that he goes for fresh takes every live performance

I am a drummer. But if I was a guitarist, I would like to play like Nick. Outstanding artist.

This is how I feel when I first found Joe Satriani many years ago.

I just realized. Remarkably Human is today’s Cliffs Of Dover for me. So much talent baked into a musically intricate, technically brilliant piece that breaths emotion and ultimately joy. An undeniable modern classic.

I cannot believe how dynamic and soulful this guy can play! 😱 Speed in just the right spots! Him and Chris buck both play with such emotion and dynamics!
I found myself another other worldy player. Cannot say enough good things about this guy's playing!🤘

Nick Johnston is such a legend. He got Schecter to make a strat for him that he now plays through Mesa Boogies.

I like how these great players are so easy to talk to and not all big headed like most the 80s shredders seemed to be. I mean dont get me wrong every generation has its cool dudes and assholes.

So much feel, touch and control, I've been playing and listening to guitar my whole life, yet I rarely see this kind of talent and creative genius. Be grateful that we're blessed with this musician.
