I can’t chose so I ride both

I learned Western, and one time while at a competition I accidentally posted at a trot and was deducted points. 😅 Idky I posted, but the judge was not happy about it.

So just a pointer when competing Western, do not post. 😂❤

How did you manage to grow a channel so fast? Any tips?

I learned to ride English in a western saddle lol! I'm wondering how switching to western for me would be like.

I want to ride western, but there is no barn near me that has it.

Im a beginner. The horse i ride can do english, western, and does vaulting as well. Im starting western to find whats best for me. I plan to move to english riding after a few more lessons

Actually because of family member horses I rode growing up. I'm very comfortable with western tack.
I feel way more secure.
I'm not into cutting or roping because I never aspired to be a rancher and never liked the thought of chasing or cornering calves or cow.

I found that many sports in western are based on that besides trail and western pleasure.

Reining is probably my favorite.  Barrel racing always felt to violent for me ( for alot of barreling racing I see)

I like English as a sport because I like jumping and dressage and cross country.
Jumping gives me an adrenaline rush. I feel very motivated to do that and so I aspire to do that in my future.

But I still love western saddles and gear. So i would love to have a mustang or a rescue horse that i would use for trail rides, hiking and all that.

And hopefully one day i will get to try out reining.

But currently as i am. I'm going to take jumping and english riding lessons first XD

in england we dont have western. i dont get why people are so obsessed with saying 'oh western is better' or 'oh english is better'

Prefer forward seat and hunt seat (English).  Lighter and more free feeling.

I have ridden western all of my life and just a few weeks ago I tried an endurance saddle. It was so easy to ride in you would have thought I had only ever ridden in it. In my opinion, while the Western has an “Oh sh*t” handle or a “Jesus Christ” handle, the Endurance just feels more natural. Plus it’s more comfortable

I'd ride Bingo because I ride western but I like the height of Doc

you can find strict people in english but there are kinda two sides to english riding the people you just go out on hacks ride their horse and just have fun or the competing side where you well compete and just really do that some people do do both but most english riders fall more to one side

I fond this when I was looking for what’s better in getting a horse and don’t know if I want to start English I’ve done western for 6 years

I am a beginner and I am 12 years old! I am not sure what saddle to use. I kind of want to use an English saddle, but I am not sure what my teacher will use.

I’m a English rider and I’m gonna be a aunt and I’m gonna try to help my sisters baby get into riding Lol I’m really the only horse rider in my family

Does Sony Vegas pro 14 have a free trial?

I’m a English rider and when I try western I’m like wait what am I doing again xD

Western for the win
