Park Jin-young, Co-Chair of the Presidential Committee on Popular Culture Exchange (and CEO of JYP Entertainment), attended the parliamentary audit of the National Assembly Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee on the 7th.

Representative Bae Hyun-jin of the People Power Party pressed him, asking, "Couldn't this be seen as preferential treatment?" citing the fact that JYP filed for domestic and international trademark rights for "Phenomenon" and that the contract stipulated overseas rights would belong to JYP.

In response, Chairman Park countered that the project was successfully concluded by "begging YG, begging SM, and begging HYBE," explaining that four entertainment agencies participated by giving up profits.
