Milan, Fashion Week, September 2026. One continuous walk through the
city's luxury heart as the light turns from golden hour to full night —
from the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the Duomo, through the
Quadrilatero della Moda: Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, Via
Sant'Andrea, Via Manzoni.

It starts in warm evening sun with the crowds, the Duomo glowing, the
buskers and a EuroVolley court set up on Piazza del Duomo. Then into the
Galleria, Milan's 1877 glass-domed arcade — Prada, Louis Vuitton, Fendi,
gelato counters, golden light through the roof. Out past La Scala and
into the fashion streets, where the boutique windows start to light up
one by one as the sky goes deep blue: Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino,
Loro Piana, a Panerai window with a live chef, velvet-rope events and
parties spilling onto the cobbles. By the end it's full night — lit
palazzo courtyards, black cars, the odd parked Lamborghini, and the
last guests heading home.
