I sail mostly Princess and have 152 Princess cruises.

#18.  I usually make do with what I have; but, I always seem to be short a couple, and end up hanging two shirts on one hangar.  So this is a good idea from Day One.
#17 is a good idea that I never thought of.  I usually travel solo, so I never need this.  But once I did have a room-mate, and this would have been a useful idea, (especially because my room-mate was a slob and I was the neat freak.)
#10  I meet my steward as soon as possible, Day One, and spend at least fifteen minutes discussing my needs, expectations, etc., and, most importantly, my daily schedule of being in and out of the room and what times I would like the required daily--or twice daily, on some lines--cleaning in the room.
#6 I always bring my own power strip (without a surge protector) and extension cords for my two (yes, two--I'm a workaholic on ship wifi) laptops, and my electric toothbrush and waterpik.  So, I'm used to this, but It's nice to know that I should request this if I don't have enough or forgot one.
#3  Interesting.  I never thought of this.  I might try this, but I don't know if I really need to do this, because, as I said above, I'm a talkaholic with my steward on DayOne.
#1 I fully agree with this, and I always do this, but often for 30 MINUTES, not seconds, on Day One.  Apparently, I'm an outlier on this, because I never see any other passenger in the corridor doing this, and comments on websites and videos seem to indicate that almost no one talks to anyone and treats the steward as part of the furniture, and never acknowledges them except to berate them and demand an upgraded room to the top of the ship.  Silly really.  I never understood this.

What's missing: Bathrobe and slippers.  On HAL, a terrycloth bathrobe and slippers already were in my closet.  Then I went back to other middle class and budget lines, and there were none, so I tipped some cash to the steward and politely asked if they could get me a robe from the suite section, and I got it right away.  Maybe I didn't have to tip them much money.  I suppose I just have to politely ask on Day One and that's it.  I'm not going to pay an exhorbitant fee for a suite just to get a simple bathrobe that HAL gives everyone without asking.  So, I think I saw this on another video, and I think it's a good idea.  Please note, a robe is just for my room, to guard against my room air conditioning.  I'm not one of those uncouth passengers that wears robes in common areas, the buffet, etc.

Incorrect information. If you need refrigeration for insulin or other injectable or baby formula,you must tell the cruiseline before you check in.  Medications must have separate refrigerator. When you are reserving your cruise,let them know at that time,to have  extra refrig waiting in your cabin. Also,let them know you need either a sharps  container or special bag for medical waste  such  as iv  bags

Another correction needed. If you have a c pap  machine or in room dialysis machine,you must use ship extention cord. Again,this must be requested prior to embarkation. Check also if the ship gives the sterile water for cpap machine so you don't have to pack it

Another AI generated presentation slinging pablum at the masses.  I couldn't bear to make it through all of the suggestions.  After watching the first 4 or 5 it became apparent that these are generic suggestions having absolutely nothing to do with one's age.  And some (such as adding another trash bin to the typically tiny, already crowded bathroom) was pretty useless, especially considering that the trash bins in staterooms are emptied at least once, and sometimes twice daily already.  And requesting ice to keep your insulin chilled?  Horrible suggestion!  Just complete the online special needs form a few weeks before your sailing and a medical refrigerator will await you in your stateroom upon your arrival.  Let's try to do better in the future, shall we?
