when the AT rifle makes for a better sniper rifle than the actual sniper rifle lol.

- Nobody use them because it’s expensive so nobody cook them.
- They can just cook Mortar and spam shells into enemy general direction. Way better return for logi trade.

skillful snipers are very deadly, everytime I decide to put a machine gun emplacement to put on supressive fire or defend a position, it takes seconds for the sniper to lock on my position and fire

Fun tip for snipping at night, you can kill tankers by aiming at the little puffs of smoke next to there tank as that’s them repping

Collie auger only needed to kill warden sniper and grab his rifle

I was fighting in Vulpine and Den of Knaves couple days back and sniper duels were basically everywhere

Auger needs buff ;-;

There's three ways to balance the quickhatch, which is currently really expensive and almost not worth it.
1 make it come 5 in a crate, adding more materials to an already expensive Rmat item to get LESS gun is absurd.
2, improve the damage and visual effects considerably to account for the expense of materials. Like old Typhon damage or more. Also we should make the Typhon an early game mounted Quickhatch, slow, precise and early single target marksman.
3 reduce the materials cost while keeping the same behavior.

Logi never bring the sniper rifles to the front. I used to get a car and a few rifles in the back regions to go snipe in the front.

So its weird. I use to never use them as they sucked but two wars ago I started seeing people using a ton of them and started using them. I think they got buffed sometime in the last few wars and the sniper that fires 20mm is disgustingly overpowered since  it can one tap a warden if you hit them in the balls but also strips armor from tanks. I now use snipers all the time and Im a collie 100% purist but yeah the Wardevs are gaslighting us, the vanilla warden sniper is so much more juiced when you get one. The one thing is you have to have height or they arent worth much and you also have to dump them at night unless you got an overzealous no rank spamming flare mortars and no one spotting for them on the front. It is fun to kill the same jackass on an emplaced gun like 7 times bc you trained in on it and they dont seem to know what a sniper is.

it was you guys going after my base as Scath's Passing?!, get off my lawn; *shakes fist

Quickhatch counter-sniping is life- but a raca is nice to have on the side if it ends up in a choke point in both offense and defensive
An auger? Well I love to annoy them at times so I’m not ruling it out entirely

The auger is so bad wardens can out-heal your shots if there's a medic behind cover. There really is no defending just how terrible that rifle is compared to the Raca, which is exactly what a foxhole sniper should be

One of the pros of the quickhatch vs the raca is the fact that the quickhatch can kill tripods. So anything like an HMG, rocket launcher, or ISG can be killed with it.

tbf a good sniper is mostly suppose to provide ISR, taking down HVT are a matter of opportunity / orders rather than their main work.

Devs should match Auger stats to Raca or buff its stability even more. The only time you have a chance to defeat Raca with an Auger is when you are in range, have cover, and slowly come out of hiding with the enemy sniper position in your sights. Even then, if the enemy sniper has at least 2 brain cells, they will simply run away, bandage themselves, and relocate.

as a collie medic, theres enough wardens using snipers

I remember in the test branch that the 20mm guns had green tracer rounds. I thought it looked pretty sick.

Ngl, getting on top of a husked bunker piece with an auger while pushing feels so damn good
