Western Sydney International Airport will be convenient for yours truly as it is closer to my home base.

When the airport is fully extended (probably around 2060), there will be a total of four terminals (not just the one you see now), all interconnected and surrounding the Metro station,. So the Metro station swill be right in the middle of them . Like at most major airports, there is support for people who are disabled or elderly, so they don’t have to walk.

For the rest of us, the walk is not long, typically about 150 metres, regardless of whether you are coming from a car park, a taxi drop off, or kiss and ride drop off, or bus or metro train. The all from entering the terminal is about the same to the boarding areas. The overall walking distance is similar to most airports.

The big difference at WSI is that the walk is under cover through gardens and grassed areas, instead of a busy street with lots of noise and traffic.

Didn't see the Control Tower.

They should have bus from Parramatta!

An absolute disgrace and a disaster if you happen to be disabled, or a family with kids and large suitcases and bags!!! There is no other international airport in the world where the public transport does NOT go right to the terminals!!!

Sydney deserves better....What a sad missed opportunity to have a spectacular entry port to Australia ..it's a shed in a paddock .Such a terrible design not having any access for disabled ,older or passengers laden with heavy luggage to get to transport who the fuck is responsible/accountable for that ?
