Thank you so much for showcasing my car, I hope it spreads to word about kei cars ❤

You're living the dream mate, I would love to have a car like this here in the US 🙏

I'm also a happy and proud owner of a Spacia Gear. (Mine's a 2020 model. I have owned mine since early 2024).
It certainly lives up to it's "Spacia" name. Just today, I had to get 2 new tyres for the front, and the young bloke in the tyre shop, thought it was "super cool!" and was blown away, by how much space it has inside. 😄

Here in Australia, you can no longer even import them, as the side paneling does not meet OZ safety requirements. Not sure if that will be a blessing  (because it makes them rare and unique) or a curse (Not meeting a potential next owners safety expectations) in the future. I'm definitely holding onto mine for as long as I can!

When you got yours, is your "infotainment unit" all in Japanese language like mine is?  (Including the Japanese voice) I'd like to swap out the infotainment unit for an english version, but I'm not sure what aftermarket unit would be compatible with the 2020 Spacia. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks for your video mate and have fun with your wee little beastie. The yellow ones like yours ar my favourites! I could only find a silver one.
👍👍

Love this. Always been facilitated in these cars since Car Magazine did a group test of the top of the line Suzuki, Daihatsu, Subaru and Mitsubishi k-cars in the early 90s. Blew my mind that they nearly all had AWD and super/turbos, like mini Group A rally cars 😍

This is all the car that I would ever need.  If it was even shorter (like the earlier Kei Cars) then so much the better.
The only problem is that, being mechanically useless, I would need a local garage willing to service it and repair it if necessary. Given how difficult it is to find reliable garages in the first place, this is a big ask...

For the record, the 660cc isn't a gentleman's agreement, it's part of the Kei spec. In 1990 the Japanese Government revised the spec, as they do every 14 years, and increased the maximum engine size from 550cc to 660cc (among other things). In 2014 the tax benefits of owning a Kei car vs a standard car shrank, but most other regulations stayed the same.

Wow 🥰

great video

Do you live in cumbernauld  I seen this today its a headturner

An amazing car indeed! Question: can it reach 80 kmh on a country road? 90 kmh on the motorway? Without the engine screaming? How many gears does it have? Thanks

Looks class mate. I want one now. Got a Jimny but wouldn’t mind another addition to the fleet!
