☆ how to access live edit/debug menu (with no mods):
1. open command console using: ctrl/command shift C
2. type type the following cheats in order:
☆ testingcheats true
☆ bb.showhiddenobjects
☆ bb.showliveeditobjects
3. close the command console using ctrl/command shift C
4. enter build mode and type "debug" into the search bar to access all these objects
note: you need to repeat all these steps each time you open the game or a world - if you don't have the better build & buy mod :)

The way you filter off the grid is on the chair icon in build mode (the little one on the left, where there is also the house and the room in case "the chair icon" is too vague lmao). There you are able to filter like "comfort" and you'll have the bed and the sofa and chairs. Or for example "lighting" and you'll have wall lights or ceiling lights. There is also an "off-the-grid" option, there you'll have all the appliances and lighting and etc that work off the grid!
