Thank you so much HCR and Maya Wiley for helping us go deeper in understanding civil rights and why they matter - in a way, even more than ever, in these perilous times. Wonderful teachers, both of you! I'm already looking forward to Maya returning.

She spoke about the issues with such clarity, especially regarding civil rights as the foundation of democracy, without them we have no democracy. from Stockton, Ca.

Thank you for bringing the vital perspective of black women, women of color- this is the demographic that is most impacted & attacked by this administration as well as those who are against the concept of human rights for all. Maya W. is a rockstar! Please bring this perspective back more often. Respectfully, I get that there are far more yt older men in your circle of academia (HCR’s) but black women in America are currently the most highly educated demographic we have. Let’s aspire to tap into that National Treasure at least as often as not. We’ll be far stronger & equipped for the work ahead if we do. Thank you so much!
