이 설교에서는 우리 각자에게 묻습니다.
“당신은 목자를 신뢰하며 그분의 인도하심 속에 걷고 있습니까?”
그리고 이렇게 초대합니다.
“광야에서도, 결핍 속에서도, 목자가 함께 하심을 믿으십시오. 그분의 약속은 반드시 이루어집니다.”

이 시리즈는 시편 23편 1~4절 말씀을 중심으로, 목자이신 하나님과 동행하는 삶의 여정을 나눕니다.
다윗은 “여호와는 나의 목자시니 내게 부족함이 없으리로다”라고 고백하며, 결핍과 광야, 사망의 음침한 골짜기 속에서도 하나님을 신뢰했습니다.

그리고 아브라함의 믿음 이야기를 함께 소개합니다.
아브라함은 후사가 없던 상황 속에서도 하나님의 약속을 믿었고, 하늘의 별처럼 많은 자손을 주시겠다는 말씀을 기다렸습니다.
그 기다림의 시간은 불확실했고, 눈앞의 현실은 변하지 않았지만, 하나님은 약속을 잊지 않으시고 반드시 성취하셨습니다.

목자이신 하나님은 오늘 우리의 삶에서도 같은 방식으로 일하십니다.
광야와 결핍의 시기를 허락하시는 이유는, 우리가 스스로를 의지하지 않고 목자를 의지하도록 하기 위함입니다.
사망의 음침한 골짜기를 지나갈지라도 두려워하지 않는 이유는, 주님의 지팡이와 막대기가 우리를 보호하고 바른 길로 인도하시기 때문입니다.

Trusting the Shepherd: A Journey Through Psalm 23

This message asks each of us a personal question:
“Are you walking in trust, following your Shepherd’s lead?”
And it gently invites us:
“Even in the wilderness and in times of lack, believe that your Shepherd is with you. His promises never fail.”

Rooted in Psalm 23:1–4, this series explores what it means to walk with God as our Shepherd.
David declared, “The Lord is my Shepherd, I lack nothing.” Even when he faced deserts, deep valleys, and overwhelming darkness, he chose to trust God's presence and guidance.

We also look to the story of Abraham, who believed God's promise of descendants even when he had none. Though the waiting was long and uncertain, God remained faithful and fulfilled His word.

In the same way, God still leads us today.
He may allow wilderness seasons and times of lack—not to harm us, but to teach us not to rely on ourselves, but on Him.
Even in the darkest valleys, we can walk without fear, because His rod and staff guide and protect us.

🕊️ No matter the path, trust the Shepherd. His presence is our strength. His promise will surely come to pass.
