The only Miss Universe who fulfill her promise to the society and she adopted two girls..!! :)

She was the first miss universe from India. Intelligent and a wonderful woman and mother.

Sushmita Sen is the first person who comes in my mind when someone ask me to name any person from India. We love you, Sushmita Sen from the Philippines.

i came here after watching an interview of sushmita sen (with twinkle khanna) where she said “when venezuela walked away and miss colombia and i stood together, that memory of me winning it, and her hands going up in the air like that as if SHE had won, that taught me tremendous grace. someone like me needed the crown to know that grace, she didn’t need it. she had it”  ❤

Can’t believe she was only 19 then but spoke like a 50+ woman who has lived her life.

When Sushmita said "children can bring adventure and happiness in your life" She meant it. She is a mother of two beautiful adopted girls ❤️

I think the most beautiful thing about her is that she thinks before she opens her mouth.

I'm Filipino but i rooted for her! I almost cried because of her stunning answers, i believed, she meant what she said!!! Very genuine person, i loved her!

Sushmita sen at the age of 24 adopted her first daughter Renee (19 now)  later in 2010 adopted her second daughter Alisah (10 now)..she is indeed miss universe❤️

She's the reason why I'm addicted to miss universe pageant every year... From Philippines, your second home sushmita... We love you...

but her speech and representation was off the charts!! She was very articulate, clear and soft spoken with a really good English ! Wow

One of the most admirable answers in the entire history of Miss Universe. Coming from an 18-year old woman with that solid and pure answer from the heart must be so astonishing. She is a queen indeed.
