So have you got or thinking of going to Sky Stream?

Couldn't get mine to connect

Sky skip the ads for $6 they will give it to you  free if you ask

I am getting Sky Stream tomorrow

Just got sky stream on the 31 day rolling, it’s actually a shit hot deal to be honest, Netflix, Disney, hbo, discovery plus is £20 on its own usually and I’m on the £30 a month deal so those services plus 150+ channels on top is a bargain in my opinion, you can’t beat having that Sky tv guide feel

I'm coming to the end of my Sky Q contract - will I be able to keep it and my mini box and sign up for the Sky Ultimate package to use on the existing Sky Q kit?

So is the picture on ITV Hub as good as it is on Sky Q. On Sky Q it's as good as network TV (how it should be).

Just because the Sky Puck is smaller than Sky Q does that really mean that the Sky Puck is better? Sky Q relies on downloads more. Downloads will always be better that streaming. Don't you notice that the picture through streaming is always slighly juddery? That's because it's compressed the hell out of. If you watch a film in 4K streaming the speed is 15 - 20 Mbps. If you watch a 4K film on 4K Blu-ray the speed is 120 - 150 Mbps. Need I say anymore? Even SD DVDs look better than streaming SD. I'm sticking with Sky Q and physical media until I'm forced to change. Sky Q is destined to carry on until 2029. Hopefully TV streaming might have improved a bit by them. Stop thinking about size and think about picture quality which is what's most important. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Sky stream is awful
.

Hi Steve, first time watching your channel. Really helpful and informative. I also really enjoyed your content. Keep it up mate 😊👍

I wouldn't get a sky stream puck if I was you, it's rubbish, problems every day, the fire TV stick is better, plus unlike the sky puck you can download your own apps on fire TV, whereas with the sky puck you can only use what's on it, you can't download anything.

You can only put programmes on your playlist if the channel has a catch up facility .many channels I want to watch do not have a catch up ,so I can only watch the programme live .

Subtitles are a bit of hit and miss, very frustrating.

can you record programmes and sport gamea on this? if not what sky products can record

I can skip the adverts by holding down the right button.

I get my sky glass next week do I need a puck and if so will I get it with the TV ????

can you watch youtube with this? has it got youtube app ...

I just got one. I am more than impressed. It is good value. I left Sky 10 years ago.

Only downside is if broadband goes down... Mine coming next week 👍

Excellent demo, thanks 👍
