I don't think tierd weapons shld be introduced until after red war campaign.. I want to start at level 1... Start with whites, hv nothing, and slowly get the ramp up to better and better gear.. I miss that climb, and being thrown into level 300 power as soon as game starts right now is jarring.. tons and tons of systems they don't explain, all these new sub classes.. it's so much to try to understand..

I’m hoping that they add a bunch of blue and green gear with Red War. It’s pivotal that New Lights get a progression system that works in tandem with the tiered system. New lights shouldn’t be able to get 10/10 legendary weapons until they actually understand what they’re using.

I think the idea that scares me the most, is that Bungie. Or, rather, Sony really. Will charge us money for access to that vaulted content. If they do that, they'll IMMEDIATELY kill any and all good will they might have garnered. And I'm terrified of this, because Sony has proven it REALLY hates to make good decisions lately

I think the most realistic things to ask for that haven't been stated yet is tiered rewards, the strikes, and the PvP maps. I honestly doubt there will be a sandbox change, though it would be nice

Still have a white origin story and last dance from the tutorial mission of OG red war on my hunter.
My original character, haven’t deleted it.

I wonder if they’ll add distortions to old destinations and tiered loot and new armor set bonuses for each of them. The weapons and armor themselves are already in the game, they just need to refresh them.

Seasonal storylines are another thing I wish they’d give some kind of way to revisit. I have two friends, one who picked up the game last month, and another who hasn’t played since the Year 1 content got vaulted, and I’m planning to play through each of Destiny 2’s campaigns with them, from the Red War to The Final Shape. With the seasonal model they implemented with Shadowkeep, there are critical story moments that they won’t be able to experience. They won’t see Rasputin’s deactivation in Season of Arrivals and his ultimate death in Season of the Seraph. They won’t be properly introduced to Caiatl or Misraaks, or see how Savathûn manipulated everyone through Osiris before being reborn in the Light. Almost all of Crow’s development, from his resurrection to the beginning of The Final Shape, happens during seasonal storylines. I can try to explain this stuff to my friends or share lore videos with them, but it’s never going to be as meaningful as it would be if they had experienced those moments for themselves.

I can't believe Fallout 76 added an effects slider before Destiny

There's so many legacy triumphs that have the chance to come back, I hope they think about those too.

The hard part is already done in terms of armor and weapons. The models are in the game. It’s just a matter of refreshing them to current standards. If Bungie said “we’re unvaulting everything next week” I’d be worried. But realistically, we’re looking at a mass unvaulting probably around March or April to coincide with the Marathon overhaul.

My biggest concern is that there is going to be so much effort set aside for locations that it slows down the implementation of arguably more important stuff like campaign difficulty modifiers. I’d even be fine is it’s like “we’re unvaulting one old location (and it’s associated gear) each season (or whatever), but are releasing the campaigns, PvP maps, and a good chunk of loot now.”

for the campaigns I would like a difficultly level for doing them
It wouldn’t be much fun in them if they were stuck on easy mode though

They should go with the old "new light" from shadowkeep where you get your ship, then go straight into red war for an actual tutorial

If hopefully they revamp old gear I'm just got to hope they make Ether Doctor into a support frame, it is its DESTINY

I agree with you , I would hate it if I was able to jump back in and beat all the old content in a day . 😅

You gotta start writing scripts, my man

I agree with you. Do we know when all this is going to be added back? I’m curious if it’s going to take a long time. I’ve heard months I’ve heard years but, what do you think?
