In this video, I'll be going over my 10 picks for the best Imperial characters in Tacticus! I know that most Tacticus players have the least amount of Imperial resources compared to Xenos and Chaos, so it's extra important that they get spent on the best characters. I prioritized characters that will give you the best results across the most modes, so that you can feel confident investing in this whole list.
A lot of thought went into which units made the cut, so I hope this can help new and intermediate players make develop their collections better than I did.
If you want to support me and get some blackstone in-game, use my referral code! You can enter this from the "Refer a friend!" button in Tacticus after going into settings.
BE AWARE. We both get blackstone from this, but you can only use ONE person's code. Don't use it on me if you and a friend are getting into the game together.

One note: the “Admech” campaign denotes the enemies, not required characters. In that campaign Death Guard & World Eaters face off against Admech. The required characters are Maladus, Corrodius, & Pestillian. I wish there was a Campaign Event that required Admech!
Trajann can be surprisingly tanky in LREs and Onslaught, especially if you level him up for Guild raids already. Usually that means you have a weaker character or a summon, so the melee opponents will try to target them and move away from Trajann, triggering the active.
Edit: 8/10, Cezare and Mephiston on the queue. Nice.
Sure, you can keep healing him with actus or vitruvius, but
1. You're better healing tan and getting a fresh skitari.
2. You're better just shooting someone with vitruvius and taking another levelled character instead of Rho.
3. Even at A2, he will often get 1-shot killed at high level LREs.
He's fine in Arena, too, I guess but that's not a difficult mode unless you really want to go up to Captain's league and above.
2. Exitor-Ro
3. Neurothrope
4. Actus, Vitruvius
5. Aleph-Null
6. Baldr, Isabella, Nicodemus, Apothocary
7. Rotbone
8. Mek-Boy
9. Hollan
10. Dwarf Engineer... nah, Trajann, lol. Don't even use the Dwarf.
I am 50 shards away from kariyan im getting them from the crusade shop. I think in about 4 weeks to get him.. my plan was taking bellator to G1 in the meantime, leave him there.. then make kariyan my strongest carry
Appreciate anyone who has any thoughts
I am planning to make mech team too
I also have trajann, he is at iron 3, tangida is stone 1
Thnx for the video it really helps me out
Exitor is too squishy, actus is niche in most modes and only works with mechanical.
That’s not even accounting for the Chalice of Baal but the distance between them only grows when that’s accounted for
