🏍️ *TRANSPIRENAICA 2026 – CHAPTER 1*
*From Cap de Creus to Puigcerdà | With Zontes 368K*
After dreaming for so long about doing a Trans-Pyrenees trip, we're finally setting off. On this adventure, we'll travel across the Pyrenees from the **Mediterranean to the Cantabrian Sea**, enjoying the road, the scenery, and above all, traveling together.
In this first chapter, we begin our route in **Cap de Creus**, from where we head towards the Pyrenees, passing through some beautiful places like **Cadaqués, Prats-de-Mollo, the Col d’Ares, Sant Joan de les Abadesses, Ripoll, Ribes de Freser, and the Collada de Toses**, before ending the day in **Puigcerdà**.
And I'm not alone on this adventure. ❤️
We're traveling **as a couple**, my wife **Merce and I**, at the controls of our **Zontes 368K**. This year, we're joined by our friends **Jose, 64, on his Honda NC750**, and **Juan, 62, on his Royal Enfield Himalayan**.
The four of us have something in common: *we love motorcycle travel and enjoying the open road at a leisurely pace**. So this could very well be our **Senior Trans-Pyrenees* 😂.
On this first day, we'll also visit **Llívia**, that small Spanish enclave surrounded by French territory, where we'll learn a bit about its history and see the famous **Esteva Pharmacy**.
And as with any motorcycle trip, it's not all beautiful scenery and roads… 😳 We'll have a few surprises along the Trans-Pyrenees route. Some of them might even make our trip much more difficult, but we'll see that in the upcoming episodes.
