Thank you all for the support! Please, please! Leave a like on the video it'll help me get back on top with these documentaries and show support by subscribing to the podcast, the bigger we get the more artists will come and then I can get information directly from them for these documentaries instead of just online sources so the content can be that much better!

I remember being mad as hell that Kanye outsold 50 😂😂. I mean, I was a Kanye fan but I was a 50 FAN. I purchased the Curtis album the first day it came out and purposely did NOT buy Graduation for a few weeks just to make sure I didn’t help Kanye.

So basicly, everything and everybody was against 50, even his own record label. And he still managed to sell almost 700k 1st week even tho his album was leaked 2 weeks before droping. If Interscope did this man right he would still be on top. His problems with Interscope started even before Curtis, they keep leeking his songs over and over again. It's a shame what's industry doing to rappers.

We need a full story of 50 cent vs supreme

What a lot of people don’t know is Kanye and 50 had the same agent at the time. Dropping albums against each other was excellent marketing.

@aidanthomas2510 5 years ago

Hip hop changed forever because of this. That's how big they both were.

Man this is sad. Interscope killed 50s love for music.

@tongstimothy1978 5 years ago

50 was up against the entire music industry and he still win worldwide. Imagine he had the support Ye had, 50 would have earned Guinness world record for album sales!
I admire both Artists though.

The end of gangsta rap and the entry to all ringtone rappers

You got to remember, 50 had a lot more "haters" than Kanye, so when they heard 50 will stop making music if he loses you know they all went out and bought Kanyes album just for that fact.

I feel like you should consistently put content on here every month or so with your old style videos like this. I know the podcast is your focus and I feel like content on here could help push the podcast

When Kanye won this battle , he proved you didn’t have to be a gangsta to rap , this when he kicked the door open for Wiz Khalifa, J .Cole , Kendrick ;Etc

Imagine how crazy it would’ve been if 50 had actually brought out Eminem, would’ve been insane lol.

I remember being grade 7 and half the kids had graduation the other half had curtis they really schemed us into buying these lol

@mrmoney6767 5 years ago

At the end of the day Kanye put out a classic and 50 put out a good album Kanye deserved the win

@toomuchwolves 5 years ago

people can say what they want but 50 promoted the hell out of this battle lol
