💕 The only thing I don't like about Wilfred is that he doesn't have enough screen time

If you don't love Wilf, you're wrong

Wilf is a national treasure

wilfred was probably the bravest soul in the entirety of DW. who else has shot a dalek with a PAINTBALL GUN

“Its them aliens again.”
Basically explains the entire series.

“You never killed a man.”

“No I didn’t. No I did not. But don’t say that like it’s shameful.”

Nobody:
Wilfred: iTs DeM aLiEnS!!

I want to reach the levels of pure joy in my life that Wilf experiences when dealing with Aliens and the Doctor. He is truly a joyous human.

Rest easy, Bernard Cribbins. Wilf is possibly my favourite Doctor Who character ever, and the world is a sadder place without him.

Doctor: “I’m going to die.”
Wilfred: “Well so am I, one day.”
Doctor: “Don’t you dare.”
The Doctor can read the fans’ thoughts!

“Dad, take those thing off!”

“No I shan’t, it’s Christmas!”

"You can't come with me"
"Well you're not leaving me with her"
...."fair enough"

Should have been every second of his screen time

“His first day was on location with Kylie Minogue, but all eyes, even Kylie’s, were on Bernard. He’d turned up with a suitcase full of props, just in case, including a rubber chicken. And what an actor. Oh, really though, what a wonderful actor. We once took him to the TV Choice Awards and sent him up on his own to collect the award, and the entire room stood up and cheered him. That’s a lovely memory. He’d phone up and say, ‘I’ve got an idea! What if I attack a Dalek with a paintball gun?!’ Okay, Bernard, in it went! He loved Gill with all his heart; he mentioned her in every conversation we ever had. A love story for the ages. I’m so lucky to have known him. Thanks for everything, my old soldier. A legend has left the world.”  — Russell T. Davies

BERNARD JOSEPH CRIBBINS, OBE (29th December 1928—28th July 2022)

Ready to tackle the biggest threat in the universe with a Paintball Gun.

What a brilliant man.

"Get back inside, Sylvia.  They always want the women."

Considering how the only alien Wilfrid truly met was Ten, this worldview is not surprising

i've been going around school saying 'rhinos could be aliens', god bless wilf

"modern sort of hair all Sticky Uppy"

"I did my duty (in Palestine after WW2)."
"You never killed a man."
"No, I didn't. No, I-I-I did not, no but... *don't say that like it's shameful!*"

And the best part is it's true of both Wilfred and Bernard. Rest in Power, old soldier. 🫡🥲

Wilfred is the kind of character you cannot hate, and if you do, you're wrong
