we need a full 2 hr video on French defense with player above 2000 too.. because I've been seeing this played by many top players.. also 2-3 videos of 2-3hrs.. explaining different variations of french
Can you make a video where you play an opening you normally do but instead of vs players from 500-2000 you play against high rated ones so we can see what the real plans of the openings are and what the purpose of each piece is so that way we get a bigger understanding of the game plans? I think it would be super cool!
I love the French. It has a boring reputation so I took a long time to learn it myself from black but it's incredibly fun and sharp enough that games can be lost in a second if you're not careful.
Plus it's a great way to avoid the Staunton gambit if you want to play the Dutch with 1. d4 , e6 and transition into the French if they play 2. e4
Thank you @ChesswithAkeem now I play the france defense when I'm black and the scot gambit and or kings gambit when white. I learned drawback blunders and you teached me how to calculate. just need to study in about 7 or 10 moves (the opening) and tactics will appear.
