Rest in Peace to the narrator Peter Cullen 1941 - 2026

I was in middle school when this film opened, and I remember watching this constantly

Man, I'm glad I never saw this before the movie came out. They basically give away everything 😂

The narrator is totally Peter Cullen. (voice of Optimus Prime)

the Enterprise crash landing was an epic theater scene

"Make it so"...may have become a catchphrase...but it is a real naval order.

Sirtis' quip about driving when the Enterprise D crashed is damn hilarious!

i love that it's peter cullen (Optimus Prime) doing the narration (or at least it sounds like him)

Sheriff Worf is the ultimate lawman

One of the best Startrek movies of all time! Along with The Wrath Of Khan and Undiscovered Country.

Watching this makes me miss star trek even more.

Wish I could've seen this in theaters! TNG was truly one of the best times.

How have I not seen this? I thought I'd seen everything Startrek?

Thanks so much for uploading this featurette! It was also shown on British TV (ITV) at the time of First Contact's theatrical release - which was how I saw it but wasn't able to make a recording. The joys of YouTube. 🙂

I remeber i recorded this off television and watched it once a day almost until the movie came out. Still one of my fav movies.

I saw these bts in tv in '96 and was amazing watching now on youtube brings me good memories about first contact 🎉🎉

I have this red, Captain Picard t-shirt that I ordered a while ago. Whenever I wear it to go somewhere, I do that Captain Picard thing with my arm, and say, "engage!" When I try to do it without the t-shirt on, he'll say, "nope, you can't do it without the shirt!"

Nostalgia is powerful with this.
