GWR King 6024 ‘King Edward I’ hauling trains at Nene Valley Railway for the first time in over a decade after a very lengthy overhaul. These are the first public trains the locomotive has hauled since 2012 and the first time on a heritage railway since then as well, only being seen on a couple of mainline tests and the light engine move from Crewe. As always an absolute credit to LSL (Locomotive Services Limited) for putting the work in the being it back and in amazing condition. This is probably the busiest I’ve seen NVR in a long time, so nice to see.
