Zach Cregger just fucking gets it man

The backlash to this movie is so weird and terminally online. He's clearly a fan of the games and the world just not obsessive about every lore detail.

This new movie didn't f*ck around, never sugarcoating, horrific, entertaining. Zach brought it home with Resident Evil.
🤙🏼🤟🏼

i honestly dont know how you did this interview without having a gallon of pcp next to your chair

Zach Cregger seems like such a genuinely kinda person and I hope for his continued success cause that will mean we're all eating well as horror fans lmao

Austin Abrams really is talented, I love watching him occupy the frame and make those expressions. I totally get what Zach saw in him

After some of the truly horrendous interviews these two have been forced to do this must have felt like a breath of fresh air.

So excited to see this movie next week and great job on the questions Mr. Meat

I didn't realize just how well Austin's career has took off. I remember being very impressed by his acting in The Walking Dead, man he's inspirational.

Was a fan of Austin’s “bully” roll in scary stories, very cool to see him play a protagonist. Counting this movie as my birthday present for the 16th. 😂

Holy shit, its the Gallon of PCP Guy

Man I’d love for James to keep getting these opportunities beyond a press junket setting. I feel like a longform interview dialogue would be amazing.

They way he describes his vision for the film is exactly what we got. Cregger is the man! The snow in the woods , in the dark to open this film was brilliant. I Cant recall a more thrilling time at the movies than I had with this one. I hope to see these two team up more in the future.

Now I'm sat here wondering if I ever went up against Austin on left 4 dead versus

I've been following Zach's career since WKUK and I'm so happy for him. He should not be apologizing for this movie as he has delivered nothing but quality in his horror releases so far. I'm beyond excited for this not gonna lie 😅

Dude this movie was so fu**ing fun and good, go see it they were both amazing

From one of the creative minds  of miss march comes Resident Evil

I feel like Zach could do a movie adaptation justice for The Evil Within game, that movie would be so easy and scary for him  to do

Seeing WKUK alum here is not what I expected to see, super fire! This is bro that played Abraham Lincoln.

I really appreciate what he said about having the comedy be more organic through realistic reactions to the absurdity rather than intentional jokes. I felt that difference in this movie versus other horror movies and it works so much better. Far too many times I've been completely taken out of my immersion by a joke in a horror scenario cause I'm like "okay that was funny, but no one would be joking like that right now."

Genuinely loved how some scenes felt like a cutscene at the beginning of a level. It was a great watch
