Puerto Rican jíbaro culture has its day in Quebradillas
The Charca neighborhood community celebrates its traditional Fiesta Jíbara.

There, Christmas embodies Puerto Rican tradition amidst a typical 1950s scene where visitors can experience rural life while enjoying free food, drinks, crafts, and traditional music.

The festivities begin at 5:00 a.m., showcasing various typical scenes from the era, such as a ranch house, a charcoal kiln, and even a still. Traditional food is also offered, including roasted pork, rice with pigeon peas, root vegetables, and for early risers, flour, bread, cheese, and coffee.

The venue is located on PR-437 in Quebradillas, which ends in the Charca neighborhood.
