On May 27, 2023, Fairfield Police Officer Major noticed a vehicle that failed to stay within the marked lanes painted on the roadway.   He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle.  The police report indicates that Officer Major observed glassy eyes and constricted pupils.   The 30-year-old woman was asked if she had consumed any alcohol and she initially denied that she had.  She was asked to recite the alphabet and she refused.  She was then asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which were a complete failure.   She was placed under arrest for DUI.   While it was initially reported that she already had 3 prior arrests for DUI, the police report corrects this (she has had 2 prior drunk driving convictions).   She was taken to the police station, where she provided a urine specimen.   Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
