this drama is a work of fiction

Director Wen Dao really did a great job with adapting the novel Deep In the Act and choosing the right actors for this show. Ollie and Shuyuan did so well for their debut as actors and I am looking forward to their next series together, hopefully they will have another one soon.

oh Orlie Wonka, you've come so far

this is such a pleasant surprise from ollie really great acting!

The fictional drama within the fictional drama

I almost wanted to skip to the end of the video every time you said, "This drama is a work of fiction!" just so I could see your reaction to the final after credits scene.

edit: the post credit ending. When he says he didn't finish the ending, he meant the book that Gao Zhun just finished. The book is the story we just watched--both parts. Our "movie" couple is real and a friend of theirs wrote their story. But instead of directly writing their story, they layered it as a fictional story of a movie being made. So our "actor" couple is only in the book. Our "movie" couple is in the book and also "real".

20:39 its also a good way to give fans the scene they want, while postponing an emotional revelation from one character and causing angst for the other.

Also writers have kinks 😅

Really glad y'all liked this show!

31:11 after watching NBC Hannibal (my fav BL) spanking your patient seems tame compared to luring them all into murder and cannibalism
