I posted this on a video from a year ago and thought it might be helpful to post here. It is about my wife's experience with cataracts and Castor oil which has been quite positive. She is now 74. Eight years ago I noticed cloudiness in her eyes one day when we were eating out. When I mentioned it she said that she saw rings around lights especially at night. She said the eye doctor said it was at 40%, whatever that means. I looked on the internet and came across several posts about using castor oil. I got some non GMO, non hexane, organic, etc castor oil. She used one undiluted drop in each eye and within a week the halos she saw and cloudy appearance of cataracts when I looked at her eyes was gone. As an unexpected bonus the floaters and dry eyes she had were gone also. She has used one drop in each eye since then and the halos, cloudy appearance when I look at her eyes, the floaters and dry eyes are still gone. The eye doctor didn't say anything about cataracts at her last exam either.

Us boomers played outside from morning to nite cause they kicked us out and no computers then and we still got myopia.

I use a gentle foaming cleanser to remove my eye and face make-up at bedtime, then place organic castor oil on my eyelids before sleep.

Speaking of warm compress, one substitute I’ve come across is wet sauna. It gets warm steam to all parts of the body including the eyes. Getting the blood flowing through the body including the eyes. I always feel amazing after a 20min session. My eyes won’t feel dry anymore, at least for the rest of the day. I can’t do this everyday but I thought I’d mention it in case people are interested. Many gyms have a wet sauna in addition to the typical dry sauna ❤

Man, Jesse covers all things health/longevity and makes these investigations available to us all. I learn something from each of his podcasts. He is one of the few longevity detectives that asks all of the right questions with little by way of preconceived notions. He probes the minds of his guests in a way that leaves no stone unturned. 👏

Vision therapy is for adults, too! I had stress induced convergence insufficiency that was greatly helped by vision therapy in my mid 50's. Not enough sleep affects my focus and vision as well, but more sleep resolves it.

For about 40 years I needed glasses for driving and seeing long distances

Then the pandemic hit and the stress of that cause my eyesight to change

I discovered that I could see better without my glasses and with them

My optometrist told me that sometimes stress can cause this

It's amazing that stress can have a positive effect

I understand that eye twitches have to do with a magnesium deficiency which resolves once a person either eats more magnesium rich foods or supplements with magnesium.

Very interesting presentation. I wasn’t planning on listening to such a long discussion but ended up listening to the end.

Flashing lights can for some people cause a migraine. This is a problem for me. Always has been since young. Glad we are now forewarned on TV and movies.

I'm using a dilution of Healthy Traditions ACV with water twice daily that's improving the issues I have with cataracts. I also use castor oil on my eyelids at night time. In 2014 the USDA relaxed standards for "organic" apple orchards so they can spray glyphosate on the apple orchards 😵‍💫 The apple orchards Healthy Traditions uses is from Wisconsin and third party tested.
