I wholeheartedly believe that if bayek got a a trilogy, and we didn't get some wierd demi God and viking fantasy games, then the rpg trilogy would have been received 100× better.

Half the title was cut off on my TV so it just read “Re-Visiting Ass” 😂

The soundtrack to this game is outstanding

Origin's a game that have:
- An awesome protagonist.
- Awesome music
- Awesome story (mostly)
- Great RPG elements while not loosing the AC core.
- The best setting in the whole series.

the desert hallucinations were such a fun and interesting touch.

Even the main menu music feels both ancient and otherworldly at the same time it's insane.

For me origins will always have a special place in my heart. I started playing it when my parents were beginning to split up and I was about 20% I to the game when they did. Throw that in with lockdown 2020 too. This game kept me sane and it was like my comfort blanket game, it made me forget for a bit. I played it for the entire year 100% it and its dlcs and doing all the discovery locations. Its my favourite ac game by a long mile

this game is how i discovered u and i make sure to comment every now and then in hopes to let u know how much i slowly realized as i grew up how much ur channel impacted me when i was growing up. it feels so weird to see u continue to make videos while i have transformed throughout my life n i think thats pretty cool. love this game n love ur vids hope ur doin well

If you have a spare 90 minutes to hear me pretend to know what I'm talking about, thank you for coming along!

Everyone loves Bayek.

I remember when the Empire leaks and rumours were all the rage in 2016, I think it's when I started watching your channel and the lads. Good times

I can't belive it's been 7 years already, what an absolutely gorgeous game, I'm excited to see your perspective on this now vs at the time, need to revisit it myself

This was my first AC and I loved it. Played most of them now and it's still my comfort game to chill in.

I think Origins is one of the best AC games in the series. And easily the best in the RPG trilogy. I also discovered that it's 10 times more fun and more immersive when you play with the HUD off. I played it last year in 4K and with a clear screen and it was marvelous. Suddenly, I had to pay attention to the actual world instead of relying on Senu and having every enemy outlined through the wall. I really recommend trying it. The stealth, combat and exploration are so much better without the hand holding.

Hot take: a lot of the problems in Ubisoft games are caused by aggressive UI that dumbs everything down too much. Too many markers on the map, too many indicators on the screen and too many features that remove the need to think for yourself. Playing with full HUD feels like you're a child being directed every step of the way. It's much better to play with minimal HUD of with no HUD at all.

And the game actually works very well with no HUD. You can still use audio cues to locate targets with Senu. You can also use the eagle pulse to see the little triangles that indicate loot (white), treasure (blue) and main objectives (gold). Even the camps and forts are surprisingly easy to complete without the HUD. Most captains and trasure chests are in predictable and logical places, like the big tents. In case you're lost or can't find the objective (there are a couple of tricky missions), you can just use the map or temporarily enable HUD. But about 95% of the game can be comfortably completed with the HUD completely off. Getting immersed in this beautiful world and role playing as lore-accurate Bayek is one of the best gaming experiences I've had.

"I forgot to talk about the modern day...oh well."

Honestly, sums up Ubisofts attitude toward the modern day in this game pretty well lol

Every time I see Bayek being amazing with kids I fall in love with his character all over again

To this day Bayek is my favorite ac protagonist. As a father I felt his pain, fury and despair. The first kill in the tombs, Bayek's delivery, how terrifying he was in that moment still sends shivers down my spine whenever I remember it.

This game was my escape from reality back then

31:02 100% saw this as a display of commitment over a clumsy mistake. Pretty obvious as Bayek is characterized as sharp and competent, he wouldnt forget an obvious and intregal feature of the weapon so quickly. He simply decided his revenge was more important than a finger or two.

I never thought I'd be able to experience walking on the streets of ancient Alexandria and many other places. Im so thankful for that
