Sora please give us more reactions like this it's so good

Mr Ballen is a goat, got me through my middle school years.

06:52 a big part of why executions used to be done in public was to instil a certain degree of fear in breaking the law, nowadays most criminals have no fear of the law since so many places have stopped executions all together and prisons have become so comfortable that the standard of living is better inside then trying to work for a living etc so there has been a few folks that just do stuff so they can be sent to jail.

Fun Fact about the first story, actor Christopher Lee was on the crowd.

17:13 NO, THAT'S FALSE. That picture was wrongly associated with that case for the similaritys from the story, but is actually part of a book from platic surgeon practices from disfigured soldiers wich came back to the trenches of the WWII

Thank you Sora for inflicting trauma

By the way the photo of eben byer without his jaw is not actually a picture of eben byer its a picture from a medical book (i dont remember what topic it was on) but the picture is actually a soldier who suffered a really bad blast injury which took the bottom of his jaw off, there is no picture of eben byer with his jaw off there are only pictures of him golfing and a regular picture of him, so don’t believe everything you see on the internet.

Executions and Bloodsports have been very popular forms of entertainment for thousands of years

I can't remember who it was that was executed, but she was considered a Saint. Her executioner did INDEED have nightmares. Even though he was just doing a job, he felt it was wrong, and was tormented by what he'd done.
I vaguely remember that New York subway story. Insane!

17:15 that's the neat part you don't
