We'll talk through the requirements, measurements and installing a filler strip on top. I'm working on an ancient Bog Oak Tele neck, however this method works for any guitar - electric, acoustic or bass.

Quick question: What's the height of your neckblank when you start routing the channel and what's the height of your fretboard in order to at least leave a 4mm depth in the neck behind the truss rod at the first fret? Thanks!
