Do I have 2½ hours to spare and watch someone listen to an album I've heard hundreds of times?
-Absolutely Not
Am I going to watch it immediately?
- You're damn right I am!

TOOL asks something from you first. It’s less “hear this song” and more “live with this song for a while.” Then one day a track suddenly clicks & you realize it was doing way more than you thought the whole time.

Everyone should experience "Invincible" live at least one time in their lifetime. That bass, that bass...

Descending is my favorite song off this album.

on Descending: "This might be my favorite Adam song!" and 7empest yet to come! haha

This is one of those albums that ages well with age (like fine wine), it only gets better and becomes more significant as you get older and gain more life experience.

Wait till he hears the No Quarter cover

Love the hi-hat in invincible just ticking away like a clock.  Uuuuuggh

Descending is one of if not their best songs period.

I listened the first day it was released and waited a long time for it.  I've seen Tool multiple times, starting with the club scene early days, mesmerized by all their albums and for me, this is album is their pinnacle of greatness.   My opinion, I know many may disagree.  Enjoy

24:36 Yes. And it’s incredible.

I saw this and couldn't click on it fast enough, I've been waiting for you to check this album out

I fell in love with every second of this album the moment I heard it for the first time. Now, even after hearing it hundreds of times over, I still get the same chills and experience the same emotions and amazement as the first time. It’s an unequivocal masterpiece unlike anything ever created before or since. Tool is in their own league, no other has or can ever come close to replicating or emulating the many unique qualities that make up Tool’s sound. Each member of the band is a literal God tier in their respective craft and are able to do things most can never fathom, much less master. There will never be another band even reminiscent of Tool because of all those unique abilities and special qualities that would have to come together again to achieve that. I’m sure as hell enjoying them while we have them to share their gifts with us though, because the day they pack up their instruments will be a great loss to music for the whole world.

THE DAY HAS COME

You are spot on with the king giz tool influence btw

Old school Tool deals a lot more with anger and sadness, Sober for instance is looking at life in suffering, and his live performance is representative of the pain of that existence. It's super emotional. The newer stuff is more esoteric and reflects how the band have moved past pain and hatred and looking at the world in a fulfilled, liberated sort of way.

Everyone is a Tool fan, some people just don't know it yet.

Just today I opened your channel, looking for a reaction to the last tool album left and saw that it was posted but as members only. Thank you so much for making this video available for everyone and for all the reactions. I found your channel while you were in the middle of listening to the entire gizz discography and I was in the same situation back then, I immediately gravitated to your positivity, your genuine honesty and emotional transparancy. This is the only music reaction channel I have ever truly enjoyed, thanks for making my days brighter Walter!
