8:58 I am amazed at the fire flies or lightning bugs in the background. I’m born and raised just north of Houston and we use to have them every summer but it’s been probably 10 to 15 years since I’ve seen one in my area. I miss them
ATG says, becareful many companies are scammming future killers when buying a new scope. This is standard industry practice for digital scopes and outright "scam marketing," but it does lead to not understanding common scams with fancy words. Again, 4K viewing during the killing is more important than check later to play back the recorded 4K.
So overall ask or call the store & say which digital scope that you see 4K when your eye is at the Ocular Lens (live-view from the scope)
Got this on my CZ457 .17HMR makes varmints easy. Even though 25-125 is less than 1inch sometimes I need to reach out to 180m I don't miss on the .17HMR but it takes a lot more out of it, plus recording is great. Just make sure if you're going for bigger game get yourself a Sniper Hog, I went with the Hyperion 40, a lot of people would go 30 but you really just need the little bigger setup for the floor since the FoV is literally 10x more than standard optics.
Been watching your videos since I first got a 22lr probably around 2016 ish, always loved your content.
I’ve since moved to NZ, got my license and a few firearms. I picked up a DNT Zulus gen 1 and honestly, it’s pretty confusing especially in the field, you really need a few hours and a range to become familiar with them.
Also the built in obsolescence of anything digital is a big downside, shortly after I bought my gen 1 they released a bigger, better newer version, haven’t had that with any of my glass which will remain relevant for year to come.
I haven't enjoyed fireflies since I was a kid in Texas! I miss those little suckers. At first I thought there were vehicles speeding by in the far distance......
For me personally having to reach out to the objective end to focus it is a deal breaker. No IR light is a bummer as well. Very impressive scope though.
I'm a small-time YouTuber and recently uploaded a review of this. The video was flagged and not monetized, because it "didn't meet advertiser guidelines". I submitted an appeal that I'm waiting to hear back on, but did you have this issue?
DNT make the best digital scopes on the market. I’ve got the Themnight, and it’s awesome. Although, because it’s so feature rich, it does have some weight to it.
