Irys went to the psychiatrist the other day but the psychiatrist was so rude to her that she doesn't want to go back there.

Never trust a clinic with bad doctors.

If you have a therapist or psychiatrist that is condescending, change immediately. You don't deserve to be disrespected.

Meanwhile my ginger psychiatrist cat is never mean

Real professionals will explain why they want you to do, or not do something. If irys brings about a certain medication and they don't agree with it's usage, a valid doctor will tell the reasoning behind their disagreement.

They should have a record of the last visit it’s absolutely ok to ask for a different one.

@Dezgoh 2 days ago

could be a stand in, the ones they call for when the usual doc could not be there for the day. Anyway, I am sure the clinic staff would know the doc name based on the date and time of visit.

"And that's how I lost my medical license" kind of doctor. Nvm at least the one doctor who said that is legit xD

Imagine that was just a random guy pretending to be a psychiatrist and nobody noticed

im seeing a lot of healthcare that are rude or have no bedside manners
it's the worst source of stress
even giving a chance to those who are overworked, there are way too many who don't think about the stress they're giving to people looking for care

when a doctor is being overly offended by a patient getting information about health somewhere else, its the first red flag of malpractice/scam doctor. that type of "doctor" wants to manipulate vulnerable clients through closed information, making you pay overly priced medication bills just like a scummy host in a bar asking you to buy overpriced drinks

@Ricky_G1 2 days ago

That sucks when the doctors cop an attitude. Having worked with providers for 5 years, any provider immediately becomes wary when any patient name drops a med. That said, it was very unprofessional of them to treat her like that, especially in their field when patients are vulnerable.

@Skyblade22 1 day ago

Dang, mean doctors are the worst. It takes so much courage or effort or time to finally go see a doctor for a problem and then they treat you like a problem or a junkie or whatever... Hope she can find a good one >:[

Been there and had that, it sucks.

@SaiyanHeretic 1 day ago

I worked in a hospital for years and lemme tell ya a lot of doctors are straight up assholes. They're only in it for the money and social prestige. Actually helping people is a secondary concern.

Wow, so sorry that happened to her...

I understand it so well. Our family doctor hates my mom because she turned her life around for the better, she runs, jumps, deadlifts, etc. he doesn’t like me because I’m starting to do the same. I’m 5’8 (short lol) and WAS 220 LBS back in January and brought myself down to 185 in May. I’ve kept a stable weight and he’s pissed. Now he refuses to see any of us.
