The crazy part with Tebow is that the Jaguars signed him to be a tight end after he hadn't played football in a decade, and somehow, that isn't even in the top 25 craziest things that Urban Meyer did as head coach of the Jags that season

RIP Demaryius Thomas❤️

Tebow looked good at Florida because he was throwing to guys so wide open that I could have completed those passes.  In the NFL, that just doesn’t happen.

I have a buddy that bet me $1,000 that Tebow would win a Super Bowl before the end of his career.
I still send him pictures of things that I want to buy with the thousand dollars that he owes me. 😂😂😂😂😂

The best thing is he has taken all the criticism and speculation with a ton of grace.   He is a terrific human being and that's more than most of us can muster up anyway.

I remember I was in high school when “Tebowmania” was running wild. Everywhere you went it was UF everything. 👴🏼

Like many players, Tebow was outstanding in college but didn’t cut it as a pro. He wasn’t the first Heisman Trophy winner to play poorly in the NFL.

That playoff win will never be forgotten

Nice work!  This was a really well made video!  Informative & flowed well.  You tell a good story, Lauren.

The fact that he won the National Championship and was draft eligible but decided to go back for one more season in college says everything IMHO

I saw this man from behind. I thought to myself, "Damn, this guy is huge!" He turns around a make eye contact. I said to him "Your Tim Tebow?!" He replied, "Yes sir I am". We shook hands. Wished him luck on making tight end for Jacksonville. He thanked me and went on his way.

He may not have had a good career, but the 2011 Broncos bringing down the Steelers felt like an act of God.

Tim Tebow:
High school quarterback....check
College quarterback...check
NFL quarterback...he's not built like that 😒

Here in Tallahassee that man was the bane of our existence 😂

Got literal goosebumps listening to the "Promise" speech as a FL alum. I went to UF after Tebow left but the level of reverence for him on campus definitely didn't drop off in the following years.

Patrick the PR guy for the Florida Gators looks at me and says, “Timmy, this is exactly three years from the time you put John 3:16 under your eyes.”
I was like, “Oh really? That’s awesome. That’s really cool.”
He says, “No, you don’t realize. During the game, you threw for 316 yards. Your yards per rush were 3.16. Your yards per completion were 31.6. The time of possession was 31.06. And the ratings for the night were 31.6. And during the game, 90 million people googled John 3:16 and it’s the number one thing on all social media right now.”

Skip Bayless made the Tim Tebow era almost insufferable. SAS and others tried hard asf to convince Skip that Tebow can’t throw the football but Skip kept drinking the Kool aid

My dad is a giant Branco's fan, as well as a former alcholic. Unfortunitly, he was drinking during Tebow's run

The only think that EVER impressed me about Tebow is how so many people were falling for all they hype. I recall every time I heard espn talk about him I just rolled my eyes. I never saw anything special about him.

He has half the amount of Playoff wins as Dak Prescott... LMFFFAAAOOO
