Last September, we traveled to Sumba Island in Indonesia with Compassion!

Do you remember "Robot Leg Sejin," who was featured on a TV show in 2009?
Despite having no legs or a right hand, Sejin never gave up on his dreams of becoming a swimmer.
And the story of his mother, Yang Jeong-suk, who adopted Sejin when he was six months old and raised him with unwavering dedication, will likely remain in many people's hearts.

Sejin, now a full-time professional, and his family made a surprise visit to Sumba Island in Indonesia to celebrate the college graduation of his younger brother, Neldy, whom he met through Compassion! Nelly, who lost a leg in an accident at the age of seven, received Sejin's prosthetic leg, and their 16-year sponsorship relationship began.
With the help of Sejin's family, Nelly was able to graduate from college. The unexpected visit from Sejin's family brought tears to her eyes.
