I'm 52 and have ridden my whole life. My RE 450 is probably my favorite bike yet.  I love that it makes me want to go for a ride

RE knocked one out of the stadium with this 450 Himi, 15000kms not out, i reckon history will be very kind to this bike!

I have my Himi for one week now. Already rode 1000km. It is my first "big" bike after owning automatic scooters. I always had this feeling of "what is this road? Where does it go?" And wanted to explore it and this bike is just perfect for this kind of riding.

I own a Goldwing DCT but I rode one of these on a tour of India and I was surprised how easy and fun it was to ride.

I watched another YouTuber's video about Men as we age.  Several points were made but the one that stuck with me was titled "Pride and Ego."
I understand why you bought this bike.  It is almost perfect at this price point!  As men we allow what others(our friends and family) to say what we  should buy 'to look good and keep up with our social status' to influence our decisions.  
I am a 69 yo man from Michigan that has owned motorcycles for the last 54 years.  I would love to own that RE Himi for all the right reasons.  Who is the driver that is driving the bike?

I’ve just traded my Z650RS in for the Himalayan 450, and I have to say, all your comments resonate with me. I had looked at loads of different options, but I was at the RE dealer testing a Bullet 350 (which my wife purchased) and the Himalayan was available to take out. I’ve only ever ridden road bikes and felt a little intimidated, but after only half an hour of riding I felt like this was the bike I’ve been searching for. I picked mine up last week and love it. I’m in Australia and I’ve been watching your videos for some time, but I didn’t see your Himalayan videos until after I’d committed to purchase so I can’t say you influenced my decision, but great to hear all your positive vibes! Keep up the good work, absolutely no loss in credibility!

Love my Himi 450! I also have the Kaza Brown, and I get positive comments on the daily.
I put some AX41 tires on it with the RE handguards. I commute with it, have done some road trips, and taken it on trails. Fun all day long!

The RE is shaping up as an ideal bike for touring the Australian outback. It's cheap and simple. Drop it, kick it straight, go again.

I bought mine in December 2024 and I absolutely love it. I agree with your assessment. I live in northern New Brunswick and it is perfect for the types of roads that we have. Good review. Keep them coming.

I love my new 25 henly black Himilayan. Added every factory accessory.  The absolutely smoothest shifting bike I've rode, riding, racing, touring!. Thats out of 83 owned since 1968. So easy to ride, yes smooth easy throttle, very easy clutch.

As a new rider, I got the Himi 450 as my first bike and have over 30 miles myself on it just practicing in the parking lot a couple streets down from me and gotta say it feels like it's a great bike to also practice with. Hell, i've dropped it 3 times in my drive way, yeah, only in my driveway - silly mistakes like forgetting to put down the kick stand or pushing the bike away from me while looking down at the kick stand. haha

Definitely a great bike and I got it to become a new daily driver. Part of my parking lot practice is also riding to a Dollage General and handing bags off of cheap clamps that I have hanging off that front guard. It's definitely a great bike.

Not currently shopping for a bike in this range, but great to hear impressions now that you've lived with the 450.  Several points brought up that will help everyone when shopping for a bike.
Picking up a CB750 Hornet next week.  We are absolutely spoiled with good bikes to choose from!  Thanks for the help your videos have provided, Peter.

I ride my Rock Red Enfield around Red Rock canyon and conservation area in Las Vegas daily being retired.
Not one drip of oil. Not one problem whatsoever.
I maintain meticulously and do not utilize the dealership or warranty crappola. I rely on myself. 68 miles to the gallon.
Wheelie days are long over.

Iam 4 months in with my Himalayan and it's the best bike I've ever owned but only for the fact it suits me perfectly at this stage of my life 53 yrs old, it does go, handle and stop very well and is built like a tank with good thick paint finishes, yes I've had a minor fork seal leak but the dealer has sorted, I love riding the thing and iam trying out a bit of off road, it's a great real world bike for when you have no desire to go to stupid fast all the time
