Mike was banned from the panel this episode for giving too many intentionally contrarian BOTW votes.

I’m upset that of all of the horror references in Cabin in the Woods, when they had the list of all of the monsters on that whiteboard, “Lust-Crazed Muck Men” weren’t on there

I know I’m ten months late on this, but there is nothing in this world I appreciate more than Rich Evans being the only one at the table to catch an obscure literary reference to A Brave New World, only to immediately mispronounce Aldous Huxley’s name. He has truly surpassed the limits of human potential.

Amazing, rich messes up "creatures" but shoots "lust-crazed muckmen" from the hip

I can't believe they managed to get one of the cops from Surviving Edged Weapons as a guest.

Mike saying "Don't hurt that spookie" is somehow one of the most wholesome things I've heard.

Thanks to Alien Private Eye, the last 4 years have consisted of me screaming "Like a thermonuclear device!!!" every time someone say "like what" lol

They're half-right about Spookies.  The original production shutdown because it ran out of money and the producer shelved it.  It had two or three directors. Two years later, the producer hired another director to write a script to wrap round the existing footage, shot it and edited it into the movie.  There's actually a feud between the original directors and the one who did the rip-off Phantasm/zombie/cat-man stuff.

Fun fact: the house where this movie was shot is the John Jay estate.  John Jay, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin celebrated the signing of the 1783 Treaty of Paris in the same house where all this crazy shit was committed to celluloid.

The best thing about the "lemroy looking at the hitler" scene is that Lemroy wouldnt have known who hitler is because he is an alien, which makes the scene even funnier.

O hey, another video I'll be watching at 2 am three years from now.

Hearing Mike genuinely say "Don't hurt that spookie" made me so happy for some reason.

My father played "Dave" in Spookies! I love that some people are still watching and reviewing this masterpiece! A special edition just came out around Thanksgiving actually!

After Earl crossed off everything on his list karma rewarded him with a spot on RedLetterMedia's Best of the Worst

Good on Mike for losing weight but I'm not sure about that mustache.

So anyway, despite Rich's objections, the Alamo Drafthouse has created a 4k restoration of Action USA, and will be giving it a theatrical re-release soon.

Mike officially banished from BOTW voting table

Mike showing compassion for the sperm lizard Spookie is adorable

"lust-crazed muck men" is a pretty accurate description of hollywood producers

Back in 2006 I interviewed both directors of Spookies. The production history of that film is amazing. I can confirm first director was not thrilled to hear how many Farts were added to their overbudget masterpiece after they got fired.

Rich can really flourish without his oppressive boyfriend Mike.
